Thirty Six Views of Mt Fuji
Inspired by the famous series of landscape prints by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai that depicts Mt Fuji from different locations in various seasons, this is my homage to the iconic Thirty Six Views of Mt Fuji.
In keeping with the feel of the original series all captions are short and simple and location names are true to those on maps of Japan from the early nineteenth century, when Hokusai was active as an artist.
